Many people are now choosing to have Ashes Ceremony, as well as or instead of a Funeral Ceremony for their loved ones these days. An Ashes Ceremony can focus on the life of the loved one, but also on personal memories of your loved one .
The beauty of an Ashes Ceremony is that generally you can invite as many people as you would like to attend and they are conducted in the great outdoors. You can also say goodbye to your loved one when you are ready.
It is usual that Ashes Ceremonies are shorter than Funeral Ceremonies whether the Ashes are being interned or scattered. Ordinarily I allow 20 minutes for an Ashes Ceremonies. Longer Ashes Ceremonies can be discussed of course, to incorporate the content of your choice. The length of Ceremony reflects in my fee.
These days the option of having your loved on go "direct to cremation" without a Funeral Ceremony is becoming an increasingly popular choice for lots of reasons. You can therefore, hold an Ashes Ceremony at the time of your choice and in your own time when you are ready to say goodbye.
My Ashes Ceremonies include:
- Your Choice of Readings and Poetry. You may choose your own or choose from my library.
- A meeting in person, via Skype or Phone to discuss your requirements for the Ashes Ceremony and gather information.
- Ashes Ceremony Script Writing . You will receive a copy of the Ceremony Script after the Service
- Delivery of the Ashes Ceremony at your location within a 40 mile radius of NN4
Please note that you must receive special permission to scatter or intern ashes when not on your own property.
A reduction in my fee will be given if I have already conducted the Funeral Ceremony for the Deceased in question.
